Closest International Airport: Marseille Provence airport (MRS), is an easy 45 to 60 minute car ride to Cassis! You can take a taxi/Uber or pre-book transportation from the airport to Cassis (details below).

Alternative International Airport: Nice airport (NCE). It's about a two hour car ride from Cassis. If traveling to/from the Nice airport, we recommend renting a car.

Direct Flights from the US: From most major cities, you can find less expensive, direct flights into Paris (CDG). From there you can take the high speed train or fly direct to Marseille.

If you are traveling from Paris, you can fly directly from Paris (CDG) to Marseille (MRS) on AirFrance.

Total travel time: 1 hour 15 minutes

Another easy route is to take a direct high speed train from Paris Gare de Lyon to Marseille Saint-Charles & then Uber/taxi to Cassis. You can book your train ticket online.

Total travel time: Approx 3 hours

If desired, you can take the train from Marseille to Cassis. However, this is not the easiest route and we would recommend taking a taxi or Uber from Marseille to Cassis.

Marseille Saint-Charles Train Station: You can take a local train from Marseille to Cassis station (daily, approx. every 30 minutes, 25-minute journey).

Cassis Train Station: Gare de Cassis (10 min by car from downtown). Only local trains (T.E.R.) stop here.
